William Burnstick
Artist and Master Headdress Maker.
I am plains Cree/Sioux
My art, clothing and objects I make reflect and carry forward my people's history. For over four decades I have been designing historical replicas, traditional clothing, and headdresses.
I have designed, developed, and deliver my very unique "recessed" style beading technique.
My own introduction to the artistic beauty of culture was through my grandmother. I attribute these creations to my ancestors, who past this gift down to me, sharing their spirit so that I may share it with others.
